MArteLive is a renowned festival-competition born in Italy in 2001.
The Total show
MArteLive has developed the “Total Show” format, which involves the overlap and succession of several live performances of 16 artistic disciplines: music, theater, dance and contemporary circus, exhibitions of painting and photography, artistic crafts, graphic art, live painting and street-art, projections, installations, reading and video-art to create a single performance, almost simultaneously, in a single location. Today MArteLive has a strong identity as an incubator of youth creativity and a leader in generating multidisciplinary show formats.
MArteLive Europe
After 20 years of activity, the MArteLive contest goes international and replicates it’s format all over Europe, thanks to the support of the Creative Europe programme, acknowledge in cooperation with partners Artnova (Poland), Kintai Arts (Lithuania), Tuzla Live (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The contest’s selections are held in 47 EU e non-EU countries, offering visibility and opportunities for many young emerging artists coming from the areas involved.
The competition includes: ‘Live streaming auditions’ in june 2021, ‘Semi-final shows’ and ‘Artistic residencies’ in Poland, Lithuania, Bosnia and Italy in July-August 2021, a ‘Final show’ held in Rome in December 2021, during the prestigious MArteLive Biennial.
What we offer?
-The opportunity to be part of a Creative Europe project
-Certificate of participation to be attached to your CV or to be presented for any requests for training credits at the discretion of the training institution.
What are we looking for?
Art(S) passionate volunteers that will help us with the following tasks:
-Partners and sponsors research
-Data entry on contacts database
-Call dissemination on international social media communities and EU universities groups/social media walls
-Research and involvement of groups/collectives of artists
-‘Twinning’ festivals research (exchange of awards and juries)
-Text’s translations from italian to english and from english to other EU languages
-Copywriting and social media management
Skills
-Organizational and communicative skills;
-Fluent in English, B2 level required for the position
-Propensity to problem solving;
-Relationship skills;
-Dynamism, motivation, resourcefulness, autonomy, strong personality, diplomacy, critical and initiative spirit, curiosity and creativity.
-Proven interest for the artistic and cultural world is a preferential title.
Experience in Creative Europe projects a plus.
