Aiming to strengthen our Automotive Department for an important global project, we are recruiting a

PROJECT MANAGER, AUTOMOTIVE INFOTAINMENT
Work Location: Italy, Modena area

Role Overview:
The selected resource will represent the car maker in managing multiple Automotive Infotainment production programs. As part of this role, the Project Manager is expected to co-ordinate different suppliers to meet overall development plan and related milestones.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand project scope from the car maker and consolidate the inputs;
- Prepare overall development plan and feature release schedule, according with car maker strategies, and provide inputs on feature roll-out plan, estimates, schedule, dependencies etc to suppliers;
- Ensure compliance with car maker’s processes and procedures to guarantee expected levels of quality of outputs from suppliers;
- Track metrics and KPIs with respect to plan, and overall development progress against planned schedule, identifying measures to contain deviations if needed;
-Setup review meetings on a regular basis, providing status inputs to senior stakeholders and alerts on major risks.

Skills/Requirements
- MSc Degree Electronic or Management Engineering, or similar education. A formal certification related to Project Management methodologies (PMP, PMI, Agile etc) would be a plus;
- Experience in Automotive system programs for more than 5 years, with exposure to complete product development cycle from ideation to production;
- Sound knowledge in Infotainment / Instrument Cluster development programs would be advantageous;
- Experience in formulating work flow processes and methods to handle multiple suppliers, tracking and managing activities and setting up a close communication to suppliers’ points of contact;
- Proven expertise in leading and managing multinational teams;
- Positive attitude towards work;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English is mandatory. He/She should have excellent facilitation, moderation and interpersonal skills to interface with Customer, Supplier and other internal stakeholders.
